- ACEEE – The American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy hosts several conferences a year, including Summer Studies on Energy Efficiency in Buildings and Industry, Hot Water and Hot Air Forums, Energy Efficiency as a Resource and the Energy Efficiency Policy Forum. The Summer Study on Energy Efficiency and Buildings includes multiple tracks for Evaluation and Research.
- AEA – The American Evaluation Association hosts an annual conference for evaluation professionals working in many disciplines and sectors, including energy program evaluation.
- AEE – The Association of Energy Engineers hosts and annual, national conference that includes a track on Measurement & Verification. They also host East Coast and West Coast conferences.
- AESP – The Association of Energy Service Professionals hosts an annual conference covering topics relevant to utility professionals, and includes a track for Research & Evaluation. They also host an annual Flex Connect conference on demand flexibility programs and technologies.
- BECC – The Behavior, Energy and Climate Change Conference is held every two years and features evaluation and research on behavioral programs.
- E Source – E Source – an energy utility research, data science and consulting company – holds an annual forum, which is open to E Source members and non-members.

- IEPEC’s sister organization, Energy Evaluation, hosts conferences approximately every two years in Europe and occasionally in the Asia-Pacific region.
- AEE Africa – The Association of Energy Engineers holds a conference about energy dynamics in Africa.
- AEE Europe – The Association of Energy Engineers has held two previous conferences in Europe.
- IEA Annual Global Conference on Energy Efficiency – The IEA hosts an annual conference on energy efficiency; the upcoming (2026) conference is in Montreal, Canada.
